We have released improved models, check us out.

We have released more symptoms, physical examination and test results features (more than 850) and diseases (total of more than 170).

As earlier promised we would, we finished building modern symptom checker (as seen on the main home page in right lower corner). This symptom checker is more flexible, fully customizable and runs on HIPAA compliant hosting with HIPAA compliantly hosted version of our API. The ShinyR symptom checker is not HIPAA compliant, it is operating on shinyapps.io hosting. The ShinyR symptom checker, on the other hand is free, and source code of it is also available for any use.

We have now fully operational HIPAA compliant, HITECH, SOC-2, SOC-3, PCI certified hosting ready for our paid customers.

For recent weeks we have been working hard on the following improvements:

We have now improved and faster API response, and more accurate disease recognition. We have added more diseases. We are getting ready to move our services (Symptom Checker, provider app and API) to HIPPA-compliant hosting.

3/28/2021 9:06AM Eastern Time

First beta release of EndlessMedicalProvider demo application. Soon it will become a fully functional part of our portfolio directed to mostly, but not only telemedicine needs:

– patient first uses symptom checker online or in physical waiting room

– provider takes over the patient’s session after patient is done answering questions

– providers adds labs’ results, physical examination data and other features

– providers receives fully finished and polished “SOAP” note, with pre-filled assessment and plan section consistent with current USA medical documentation structure and guidelines

– provider finishes up the note and copies’ pastes’ it to their medical record

All, soon, although not required, as there is patient’s protected health information (for example name, date of birth) handling will be handled on HIPPA compliant hosting.

We released to the public major updates in modeling with more symptoms and signs, verified again most of the diseases and updated modelling. Now all symptoms and signs can become the part of the note.

2/28/2021 11:06PM Eastern Time

We released to the public major updates in modeling. We are now creating our models on  cluster, with almost no RAM and CPU limits. Our smart Symptom Checker gets to singled out diagnosis in only few questions 🙂

We heard your voices and we released free for any use source code of Symptom Checker, so you can customize it yourself. You will require ShinyR Server, or Shiny hosting on https://www.shinyapps.io/.

11/14/2020 16:39PM Eastern Time

We released to the public: sinusitis acute and chronic; nephrotic and nephritic syndromes, menstruation, pregnancy, and others. Released to public alfa version of symptom checker. Free to use and install on your website. Ask us for customization and source code.

10/31/2020 18:39PM Eastern Time

We released to the public improved angina, coronary syndromes, like: stable coronary artery disease, ST-elevation myocardial infarction (MI) and non-ST-elevation MI. Improved modeling. Improved pancreatitis. Corrected multiple typos and language issues. Added symptom checker bot, text message chat like – free to use with any CMS / website. Improved suggestions.

Released to public risk of life-threatening symptoms gauge within the symptom checker.

6/30/2020 18:39PM Eastern Time

We released to the public: CVAs (i.e. sub-arachnoid hemorrhage, ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes), primary headaches (migraines, tension headaches, cluster headaches), secondary headaches (from nitrates, from caffeine withdrawal), PVD (ischemic extremity, ischemic colitis, and mesenteric ischemia), chest pain etiologies (from pulmonary emboli, via aortic dissections, to NSTEMI and STEMI), more heart failure syndromes (myocarditis for example), more secondary hypertension (from obstructive sleep apnea, obesity, hyperaldosteronism), more abdominal pains (from ectopic and healthy pregnancy, via ischemic bowel, to Clostridium diff. colitis).

6/30/2020 19:39PM Eastern Time

We released to the public: Vaginal candidiasis, urethritis, hydronephrosis, other STDs with gonococcal and chlamydial urethritis, trichomonas—all with further improved modeling.

6/07/2020 11:29 PM Eastern Time

We released to the public: the first set of multiple-choice “USMLE-style” board questions almost entirely generated by AI of EndlessMedicalAPI (including cases of COVID-19, asthma, chronic obstructive disease exacerbation, community-acquired pneumonia, and healthcare-associated pneumonia. This is the first known to us successful attempt to make AI generate educational MCQ questions. The explanations were also created by the AI, although still required significant editing for appropriate English at this point.

5/14/2020 8:29 PM Eastern Time

Released to the public: diabetes mellitus type 1 and 2, primary arterial hypertension, and secondary arterial hypertension (secondary to hyperaldosteronism, secondary to CKD, obesity, and OSA), hypoxia, transaminitis, hepatitis C, and both diabetic and hypertensive kidney diseases.

5/11/2020 9:49 PM Eastern Time

The new version of the modeling has been uploaded to the API server. It resembles the “real” patient’s encounters more now.

5/09/2020 1:33 AM Eastern Time

We have added: “COVID toes” to the features’ list in our system.

Based on recent publication: “Clinical and coagulation characteristics of 7 patients with critical COVID-2019 pneumonia and acro-ischemia”. Zhang Y, Cao W, Xiao M, Li YJ, Yang Y, Zhao J, Zhou X, Jiang W, Zhao YQ, Zhang SY, Li TS. 2020 Mar 28;41(0):E006. doi: 10.3760/cma.j.issn.0253-2727.2020.0006, we added “Limb tips fingers/toes ischemic signs on the skin (i.e., acro-cyanosis, bullae, dry gangrene)” symptoms for respective COVID-19 positive patients.

This feature will be incorporated into other diseases with similar symptoms in our database, like limb ischemia, arterial thrombosis, embolization, and others.

We have added both: atherosclerotic and embolic lower extremities ischemia to diseases list, with arterial Dopplers and ABI as recommended tests, with symptoms like claudication, ischemic skin changes, and others – so the “COVID toes” don’t function in the void, and can be effectively differentiated, from other etiologies of ischemic skin changes by EndlessMedical.com API.

5/06/2020 12:33 AM Eastern Time

We added new features of “Loss of smell.”, and “Loss of taste.”.

These were recently added by WHO to symptoms of Covid-19, based on the publication: Association of chemosensory dysfunction and Covid-19 in patients presenting with influenza-like symptoms. Carol H. Yan MD, Farhoud Faraji MD Ph.D., Divya P. Prajapati BS, Christine E. Boone MD Ph.D., Adam S DeConde MD, First published: 12 April 2020, https://doi.org/10.1002/alr.22579.

We added a new disease, the ‘Common cold.’

We have added two tests, which are commonly done in patients with the clinical diagnosis of pneumonia: ‘Pneumococcal urine antigen’ and ‘Legionella urine antigen.’ These are done in Covid-19 patients, to not miss treatable coinfection.

4/22/2020 12:18 AM Eastern Time

Our technology covering patent application is now published (USA USPTO # 20200118691 and international PCT/US2019/055747).
